Tube Removal Services

With our custom tooling, Powerfect Service Inc, is able to cut and remove tube samples up to 40 feet back from the face of the tubesheet. Tube removal is a necessity when attempting to resolve leaks that occur at the tube-to-tubesheet joint where the tube hole is required to be plugged. 

Tube sampling is also an excellent way to follow-up NDE testing such as eddy current in order to corroborate the eddy current vendor's calls on percent wall loss and locations, as well as to provide a sample to a third party metallurgical lab in order to determine active damaging mechanisms and to conduct failure cause analysis
